Conservative Members of SWBCA
SWBCA is pleased to be supported by many local members across South West Bedfordshire. Membership is £39 as a standard member and has promotional, discounted rates for younger members and Armed Forces members. All members can join our mailing list to receive information, event and meeting invitations, updates, etc. We have a very varied and active Calendar of Events.
A Special Member Award is made annually to thank a member for special recognition and contribution.
In 2018 a Special Member Award was given to the Association Chairman, John Worboys for his leadership, drive, energy, generosity and hard work in his role as Chairman over the last number of years. John leads the Association's Management committee and has been instrumental in some innovative fundraising events. John is a successful businessman and popular Chairman and received appreciation by all present for his recognition. The award was presented by Cllr Carole Hegley, Vice Chairman, Political.

Conservative Special Member 2017Marion Mustoe
A Special Member receives an Annual Award for their contribution and help to the Association. In 2017 the Award was given to Marion Mustoe for her services as a Councillor, fundraising efforts and work in the community, especially Totternhoe. Marie is famous for her fundraising efforts in recent years, including her regular Christmas Quiz, Coffee Mornings and Special Lunches.
Over the years we have welcomed many VIP visitors to South West Bedfordshire and many have been involved in presenting awards to some of our valued members for their service and commitment. We also have various special interest groups including the Conservative Women's Organisation, Conservative Future for young members, Policy Forums, Political Suppers. Some of our members have been fortunate in being elected as Town Mayor and others have received special nominations in national competitions for their work or contributions.
